In the 30 years that Mike has been entertaining, he has gained a reputation as one of the best comedy-magicians and children's entertainers in the United States. He is the only magician to have won the prestigious "Best of Boston®" award from the editors of Boston Magazine. The Boston Globe has called him "wonderfully wacky, and a brilliantly original talent" while Nickelodeon dubbed him Boston's Best Children's Entertainer in 2009.

Mike has made numerous television appearances on HBO, Showtime, ABC, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central and A&E. His books, products and lectures have become the standard for the industry. He has been featured on the cover of MAGIC magazine and a monthly column called "Bent on Deception".

Mike has been invited to perform at the White House nine times, appearing alongside J.K. Rowling, Justin Bieber, The Cast of Glee, Fergie, John Lithgow, the Cast of Sesame Street and Jim Carrey. The White House programme called Mike "one of the most creative and imaginative people in magic."

As a performer, teacher and dad, Mike knows how to use comedy and magic to entertain, educate and motivate children. Mike has been teaching professional comedy writing at Emerson College for more than 20 years. It's not unusual to watch a comedy show on television and see one of Mike's former students listed in the credits.
