New Zealand International Magicians Convention 2017
Message by Nopera Whitley
No one has put their hand up to organise a New Zealand international
magic convention in 2017. I feel these conventions are vital
to progressing the Art of Magic in New Zealand, and I think
it would be a shame for such an event not to take place.
I am also aware that many are keen to know if a 2017 convention
is going to take place, and so, I would like to announce
that it is my intention to organise the next major convention
in New Zealand. I have begun talking with various parties
to make this event a reality, but as these are early days
I have no official details to announce, other than I intend
to hold the convention in 2017. I would suggest people watch
this space for more information in the coming months, and
to anticipate registrations opening around the middle of
2016.
Finally, I would like to invite those interested in attending
a 2017 convention to email me personally (noperaw@gmail.com)
with any suggestions for international acts they would like
to see, as none have yet been engaged.
