29th New Zealand International Magicians Convention will be held in Auckland New Zealand from the night of December 27th 2008 to January 1st 2009, 1.00am.

Registrations will open during the afternoon/evening of 27 December

Pleased to announce that Charles Gauci (Aust) has been added to the convention headliners

Charles is known as "The Magicians Magician". A title given to him by his peers, meaning that he can not only mystify and enthrall lay audiences, he has also managed to fool some of the world's best magicians with his original creations.

Close-up Magic

This is Charles's favorite form of entertaining. Performing at tables in restaurants, corporate functions and private parties. This is magic performed right under your nose with various audience members participating for an unforgettable experience. Charles performs at each table and his warmth and humor captivate his audience and his mysteries leave them spellbound. His favorite quotation is "Watch closely, for, the closer you watch, the less you will see."

Strolling Magic

Suitable for garden parties or corporate events Charles mingles with the guests performing magic. This type of entertainment is suitable for occasions where there is no specific performing area and the party is informal.

Stage Magic

Whether it is a cabaret, stage or a big convention, Charles's stand up routine can entertain audiences of up to 800 people. He demonstrates incredible feats of memory, and his mindreading feats leave his audiences wondering for days as to how they were done. For corporate events Charles works closely with the organization ensuring that the corporate message is delivered in a magical manner for maximum impact.
