Message from Frazer Parkinson 
 
I thought I’d drop you a quick line, to let you know that Dad suffered a 
heart attack early yesterday morning. He was resuscitated, and was in a 
stable but serious condition. Early this morning he started suffering from 
more chest pains and was taken to Greenlane hospital for an angiogram and 
then an angioplasty during which 5 stents were inserted to open up what 
were primarily blocked arteries. He has responded well to this, and at 
this stage he is okay, but it’s a case of day by day at the moment. 
We are waiting to hear more news, and prognosis.

He will be in Greenlane hospital for Aabout 10 days, and is quite likely 
going to require further treatment, and although nothing has been confirmed 
at this stage, it is possible he will require heart bypass surgery. We all 
have our fingers crossed of course, and we are hoping for the best.

He does not appear to have suffered any other trauma, and has his faculties 
about him, although he is still pretty tired, the angioplasty today knocked 
him about pretty badly.
